Mattie opened up about her journey, sharing, “Other dear widow friends assured me that my heart could heal… This man is more of an answer to prayer than I sometimes think he even realizes.” The couple’s baby will be country star Alan Jackson’s second grandchild, following the birth of his grandson, Jackson Alvi Bradshaw, to his daughter Ali and her husband, Sam, in December 2022.
