Shania Twain, the country star, has had a tumultuous journey to finding love. Previously married to producer Robert “Mutt” Lange, their relationship ended in 2008 due to his affair with her close friend. Shania discovered this through Marie-Anne’s then-husband, Frédéric, leading to mutual support and eventually love between Shania and Frédéric after their divorces.

Reflecting on her experience, Shania told PEOPLE in 2011, “I didn’t want to love again-it was the last thing on my mind.” Yet, she found love anew with Frédéric. Despite typically keeping her marriage private, she recently shared a photo with Frédéric and their dogs.
