NCIS fan favorites Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo are set to return in a new series on Paramount +. Known for their roles as Tony DiNozzo and Ziva David, the duo’s return follows a tribute episode to David McCallum, offering fans some much-needed happy news.
The characters Tony and Ziva, affectionately called “Tiva,” first met in 2005 and shared years of romantic tension. Ziva left during the 10th season, with her apparent death revealed in a bombing in Israel, leaving Tony to care for their daughter Tali. However, in a surprising twist in season 16, it was revealed that Ziva survived the bombing. The couple is now living in Paris with their daughter.
The unnamed 10-episode series takes the duo on a thrilling adventure when Tony’s security company is attacked, forcing them to go on the run across Europe. The plot revolves around unraveling the mystery of their attackers while re-establishing trust between Tony and Ziva for their unconventional happily ever after.
