Following a tragic shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs’ victory parade, Taylor Swift stepped in to support the family of Lisa Lopez-Galvan, who lost her life in the incident. The singer donated $100,000 to a GoFundMe page created by Lopez-Galvan’s family. Swift’s message accompanying the donation read, “Sending my deepest sympathies and condolences in the wake of your devastating loss. With love, Taylor Swift.”
The shooting, which occurred outside Union Station, resulted in Lopez-Galvan’s death and left 22 others injured. Lopez-Galvan, known as the DJ and host of a Latin music program on local radio station KKFI 90.1 FM, was described as a vibrant personality by her brother, Beto Lopez.
